Improved mini cucumbers in our assortment

Mini cucumber is one of the first products we have suggested to our clients at the beginning of the Ergon Seed activity. Year after year we test improved varieties according to the request of the markets, where we are represented. Today we would like to underline our new commercial varieties ES 28041 F1 and ES 28044 F1, that are resistant to CYSDV (Cucurbit Yellow Stunting Disorder Virus).

ES 28041 F1 – high-quality 18-cm fruits and a strong resistant plant for spring-summer cultivation.

  • Slightly ribbed, medium to dark green fruits of the length 18 cm;
  • strong balanced plant;
  • suitable for growing during spring-summer;
  • resistance to Powdery Mildew, Cucumber Mosaic Virus, Cucumber Vein Yellow Virus, Zucchini Yellow Mosaic Virus, and Cucurbit Yellow Stunting Disorder Virus.

ES 28044 F1 – high-quality 18-cm fruits and a strong resistant plant for autumn cultivation.

  • Slightly ribbed, medium to dark green fruits of the length 19 cm;
  • strong balanced plant;
  • suitable for growing during autumn;
  • resistance to Powdery Mildew, Cucumber Mosaic Virus, Cucumber Vein Yellow Virus, Zucchini Yellow Mosaic Virus, and Cucurbit Yellow Stunting Disorder Virus.
